Overview
I developed a custom B2B ordering system for A2mlieko, connecting customer ordering with product, pricing and order management.
The customer interface works on desktop and mobile. The administration provides an order overview and tools for managing the catalogue and business customers.
The brief
A2mlieko and its business customers originally exchanged orders in Excel files. Customers could not see available quantities when ordering, so orders required follow-up calls and adjustments.
I designed the application around this existing workflow, focusing on stock availability and delivery scheduling for Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Give business customers access to a product catalogue with their own prices.
- Let customers select quantities and a delivery date in a single order form.
- Connect orders and delivery notes with SuperFaktúra.
The solution
Customers browse products by category, set quantities and see a running order summary. The form displays availability, prices and quantities from their previous order.
The system supports customer-specific pricing, multiple currencies and Slovak, Czech, Polish and Hungarian language versions. Ordering includes a delivery date selector and time-limited reservations for items in the cart.
My role
I designed the application around the original Excel ordering workflow and developed the customer interface, administration and server-side application, including the SuperFaktúra integration. I worked on the project from May 2025 to May 2026.
Technical implementation
The interface is built with Vue 3 and Vite. The PHP backend handles the API, access permissions, order processing and database models.
- Product, category, price and customer account management.
- Separate customer and administrator permissions.
- Email notifications and configurable customer registration.
- SuperFaktúra integration for orders, delivery notes, clients and stock items.
- A multilingual interface using Vue I18n.
Challenges
The initial online form evolved with the needs of the business. Customer-specific pricing, language versions, related delivery notes and registration approval were added. Keeping the ordering workflow clear as the business rules expanded was a key part of the work.
The order form needs to account for available quantities, customer-specific prices and the selected currency. Concurrent ordering also requires temporary cart reservations.
The integration maps customer details, product items and units between the application and SuperFaktúra.
The result
The application replaced orders exchanged in Excel files. Customers can see available stock while selecting products, removing the need for follow-up calls and order changes caused by unavailable items.
Customers select their preferred Tuesday or Thursday delivery and receive reminders when it is time to place an order. The product catalogue, customer-specific prices, orders and related documents are connected in one workflow.
